Leaders of Color Network Program

Members of the Leaders of Color Network hold a valuable perspective and we want it represented at the LeadingAge Annual Meeting + EXPO. The annual meeting and leaders of color program will provide you with opportunities to hear from thought leaders across our field on key topics such as diversity, equity and inclusion and governance leadership, network with executives and people of color, and to build a community with your colleagues. We encourage you to take the opportunity to join us in Denver, CO for the four-day conference from October 16 – 19, 2022.

Program and Registration

The Leaders of Color Program is included in Annual Meeting registration and is open to all LeadingAge members including emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders of color who are registered for the Annual Meeting. If you are not yet registered, we invite you to join us at the Annual Meeting + EXPO.

Annual Meeting Leaders of Color Scholarship Application

LeadingAge invites emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders of color to submit scholarship applications for a chance to attend the meeting. The Leaders of Color Conference Registration Scholarship includes individual registration for the four-day conference (Sunday, October 16 – Wednesday, October 19) at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO. You will need to cover hotel accommodations and airfare (if applicable) through your employer or individually. ConnectRN is generously offering twenty scholarships. The scholarship application and acceptance will be on a rolling basis.

Leaders of Color Network Panel Event

LeadingAge is hosting a panel event featuring Dr. Erika James, Dean, Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and other leaders of color from member communities. The panelists will discuss management strategy and crisis leadership.

Leaders of Color Business Meeting

The annual meeting is the first opportunity to bring together the members of the network to meet in-person. The business meeting, facilitated by chair Karen Gipson and co-chair Moniqua Costa, will be a discussion among the members about the purpose and structure of the network, future activities and events, and creating a database of the network members.

Leaders of Color Networking Events

The Leaders of Color Networking events provide members an opportunity to meet and connect with their colleagues across the country who are working in aging services to share best practices and ideas for developing a diverse pipeline of LTSS leaders.

Annual Meeting Keynote Speakers and Educational Sessions
